Assisi, Perugia, Spoleto, Todi and Gubbio are all culturally interesting towns with a busy calendar of events, concerts, exhibitions and evocative historical events: from Umbria Jazz, Eurochocolate, the Festival dei due mondi, to the Corsa dei Ceri, Mercato delle Gaite, and Calendimaggio to name just a few of the events you might want to attend.

You can also take part in special religious celebrations. The mass of the Sacro Tugurio (Sacred Abode) or the mass held at the Porziuncola bring Christians from all over the world to Assisi.
