Umbria: Land of rarities and surprises

During this theme evening you can savour some of the specialities of traditional Umbrian cuisine: starting with “Torta al testo” bread, baked in the oven or cooked on a red-hot griddle and served with local cheeses and cured meats. To follow there is soup made with Colfiorito lentils or chickpeas and porcini mushrooms. For your main course you can try stuffed rabbit, lamb chops or other high quality meats from the central Apennines, such as Chianina beef. To finish, for dessert there is “Rocciata Assisana” filled with apples, pine nuts, sultanas and walnuts, and “Tozzetti” almond biscuits usually eaten dipped in sweet dessert wine.

Umbria the land of olive oil

This evening follows the path of the Strada dell'olio DOP (DOP Olive oil trail) – of the Colli Assisi-Spoleto. You will taste freshly pressed and organic extra-virgin olive oil, which has an intense fruity flavour.

Wine Tasting

Questa degustazione, tra taglieri di formaggi e salumi tipici dell’Umbria, ti fa percorrere le strade del vino della nostra regione, passando per Montefalco e Bevagna, Assisi e Spoleto, Torgiano e Orvieto, i Colli Martani e i Colli Perugini.

Black Truffle

During this theme evening you can taste starters, first courses and main courses made using this prestigious ingredient. Truffle is a traditional product in the Valnerina area of Umbria and it has a rich distinctive aroma.
